That is how our spring season ends.

We had heavy rains today, fog, and cool temperatures. Laundry had to go in the dryer, and no yard work was done.   The weeds are getting way ahead of me!

Mustard ventured out onto the deck for drink from a puddle.

And then did not want to come back in….

I got around to making my first loaf of french bread with the breadmaker.    It’s not the same as doing all the kneading by hand and baking it in the oven, but the bread is delicious,  and I put that time saved to good use.

Yum, your bread looks so good Jan.
It has poured almost all day, and the creek is really high. We did have a little water in our cellar, but not bad.
Tomorrow is looking better.
Have a great rest of the week-end.

Rainy here as well. The birds are all wet as they come to the feeders and the dogs don’t want to go outside at all. I love the smell of fresh bread, not to mention the delight of eating it.
