The dark, the bitter cold, the morning stiffness...all depressing. It is ,after all late, January. Hang in there, as my husband says, "less than 90 days until spring". Even though I'm not working anymore, I really don't like the dark mornings, and I think I can notice the evenings staying light a little longer. This time of the year is so depressing, and like you my birds bring so much joy, so it does help. I can't wait to get outside too. Sometimes I think I'd like to move someplace warmer where I could be out doors 12 months of the year. It's -2º right now, so another bitterly cold one.. Have a nice rest of the week.
